Christmas tree / Árvore de Natal

Árvore de Natal com um comboio, duas prendinhas e um tamborzinho.

My sister and I have made a christmas tree with recicled objects, its entering a contest at my little niece's school.

All parents where invited to do a tree and this is what we came up with.

We used: cardboard tubes for the structure of the tree, them with glue and kitchen paper we covered it and painted in greenThe leaves are made of brown paper then painted in green, the balls are little plastic balls, that we painted in red and put some gold after.We put some drinking straws to pretend beein those oldfashioned sweets that look like a cane. The star is made of soft cardboard, painted with gold and we added some purpurines (not sure if this is the right name for it, its like gold glitter but without glue ) Then we made a little train with matchboxes and a toilet paper tube and painted a railway on the base of the tree. Two present made with big matchboxes then rapped in brown paper and coloured with gold.And the little drum is made out of a cat food tin, wich we painted and put a white string around and we used two matches with a little bit of cotton on the edges for the drum sticks.

materiais utilizados: cartão, papel, tubos de cartão, caixas de fósforos, bolinhas de plástico, palhinhas dos pacotes de bebidas, tintas acrilicas e spray, purpurinas douradas, guita, cordão branco e uma lata (de comida para gato).
